    Use clip robot with AJAX

I am building a Ruby on Rails app where I wanna call a web clip robot using AJAX (dont want to reload the page in question) with some input values to the robot, and then show the clip as a response to the AJAX call. Hav tried doing this, but so far without succcess. Does anybody out there have any ideas of how I can do that?

Re: Use clip robot with AJAX

Just call the clip robot like you would any robot, using the robots URL with the robots input values as parameters in the URL. If you are using RoR & AJAX I would suggest that your app loads a partial template containing the clip, for example the clip could be shown in a frame or iframe in the partial template. I think that wowuld get you the effect you are looking for.
