Hi,

I did my first steps with robomaker and created the following rest robot:

Now because with some other regionCode variables the loading of the page durates forever, I decided to re-create the robot as a rss robot. I set the interval time to 1h. Unfortunately I never get any results with this robot despite the fact it works within the debugger. Here's the link:

Hi Eric

The problem is that you extract values to a REST output object instead of an RSS ditto. An RSS feed only returns whatever is in the RSSItem. All you have to do is to change the output object of all your extract steps.

thanks for replying! i'm aware of this. but when using the RSSitem one can only populate the pre-defined fields with data. but i'd like to define the number of fields and field names myself. so actually i'm rather looking for outputting some kind of xml (like with RESTitem) in a "cached" way. let's say every 6 hours like one can define fpr RSSitem.

Hi Eric

I'm afraid it's not possible to name the fields of an RSSitem yourself. You will have to use a REST robot for that.

And for storing the results automatically... You can't do that directly with Robomaker or OpenKapow. You will need some other service to do it for you. I'm afraid I don't know any.
