I followed the tutorial and created the basic Google search robot that returns the first text and url. It worked fine in debug mode but when I uploaded it to kapow servers it gives me this error:

http://service.openkapow.com/Stu/googletestrobot.rest

Even the Kapow generated example does not work, same error: http://service.openkapow.com/tutorial/firstlinkgooglesearch.rest

Any ideas or help is appreciated!

It seems that the ip-adress of the Openkapow-servers is blocked by Google. When you extract the curret URL after clicking search you receive this message:

http://sorry.google.com/sorry/?continue=http://www.google.com/search%3Fhl%3Den%26q%3Drobot%26btnG%3DGoogle%2BSearch

mrx is correct.  Google has tightened it's security within the last few months to attempt to prevent any programmatic access to their site.  This is done, according to them, to prevent spammers from crawling google looking for email addresses.
