I have made an OpenKapow robot which I want a friend to check out. His RoboMaker is part of Kapow Technologies and not OpenKapow. Is it possible for him to open my robot, run it, and save any relevant posts in a MySQL tabel? That is without downloading the OpenKapow robot.

What version and Edition of products does your friend have?  Is it Data Collection Edition or Web 2.0 Edition?  Also, which version.  6.3?

Yes, this is no problem at all, as long as the robomaker versions match. However, I have not been able to publish from kapow technologies robomaker.

 

If he saves it in the kapow technologies 2.0 edition, he might want to do "convert to openkapow robot" before saving. however, I don't think Openkapow understands SQL queries.

The safest way to do this is to open the openkapow RSS robot in openkapow RoboMaker, select all the steps and select copy.  Open the RoboMaker for the version you have, and paste them in.
